Tandem Insecticide does list schools as an approved Use Site on the product label but not specifically playgrounds. The product label advises to keep children and pets off the treated areas following the application until the spray has dried. There is more detailed information under the Outdoor Pests Section on the product label and unfortunately, we cannot advise beyond what is listed on the product label.
We would recommend contacting your local Dept of Agriculture as every County in each State has its own list of approved insecticides for use inside/around schools and daycares. We apologize but are unable to make a recommendation for this reason
