I have a terrible nutsedge problem in grass that's dying and an empty flowerbed. How long after treatment do I need to wait to pull up the grass and plant new grass and how long do I need to wait to plant in the flower bed? Also how close by to plants can I get to safely spray with this (i.e. 1ft/2ft from a plant) without it impacting the plant?
Dismiss Turf is meant more for nutsedge control in turf grass and it CANNOT be used in or near a vegetable garden or anything edible. The main product used for weeds in a vegetable garden is a RoundUp type product, like our RoundUp QuickProproduct. RoundUp Professional products do not leave a residual in the soil that could possibly be soaked up by the roots of your garden. Of course you do not want to get the RoundUp on any plants you want to keep. You should only direct it at the weeds you want to eliminate. We do not suggest pulling nutsedge this could potentially spread the seeds.
