How long do I need to wait to apply Certainty Herbicide to newly sodded St. Augustine to treat for nutsedge?

How to kill

Answer:

Certainty Herbicide should only be applied after the sod has been established and mowed at least 2-3 times or 30 days has passed. For Sedge Control, you will apply this product at 1.25 ounces per acre after weeds have reached the 3- to 8-leaf stage of growth. A sequential application of 1.25 ounces per acre may be made 4 or more weeks after the initial treatment. Please review the product label for more information.
