Lile from Independence, Ky writes

How long does Acelepryn Insecticide remain active in the soil to treat for grubs and armyworms?

If I apply this in April, will it cover until my first frost in October or will I need to reapply in August?

Answer:

Yes, applying Acelepryn Insecticide at the higher rate of 0.37 fl oz per 1000 sq ft is recommended for longer residual control and would last in the soil from April through late August/early September. If a second application is needed in late August/early September, apply again at the 0.37 fl oz per 1000 sq ft rate. The maximum rate for a single application is 0.46 fl oz per 1000 sq ft (8 – 16 fl oz per acre) and the maximum rate per acre per calendar year is 38.3 fl oz Please view the Rate Chart for Broadcast Applications on page 6 of the product label for more information.
