How long does it take for a bed bug bite to actually show on your body?

My daughter's boyfriend stayed in a hotel that had signs of bed bugs in the morning. He had no luggage, just the clothes on his back, this was two weeks ago. He has woke up with massive bites on his body now.

Answer:

According to available information, it can take several days for the swelling from the bites to show up on some individuals. We would recommend doing a thorough inspection of his bedroom to be sure that a bedbug or two did not manage to hitch hike home with him.
