How long does it take for bed bugs to die in furniture once its been sprayed with Tempo?

I sprayed a chair with tempo the other night because my son had been getting bit by bedbugs and he went to sit in the chair today and still got bit. Is it common to still have live biting bed bugs the day after I sprayed?

Answer:

Tempo SC Ultra should only be sprayed into cracks and crevices of the chair, not on top where it would come into prolonged skin contact.  When used as directed how long it takes to kill bed bugs depends on a few factors, how soon they contact the treated area, how long they spend on the treated area and the age and health of the bed bug, but you may still be bitten even after spraying.
