how long does MSM Turf Herbicide last in the soil?

i wish to plant a lemon tree in an area that was previously treated (2 months ago) with MSM (st augustine lawn) i know that msm is toxic to citrus trees --- how long is it before the MSM leaches out of the soil and it is safe to plant a tree? my lawn gets 1+ inches of water per week.

Answer:

Per the manufacturer, you would need to wait at least one full year from the last application of MSM Turf Herbicide before any edibles of any kind could be planted in the treated area.
