How long does one bait trap last? How can we tell when we need to replace it?

We just put out three traps, and I was getting ready to order some more. I didn't know whether I should wait till later if the ones we put down were good for a while. Please advise.

Once the stations have been used, they should be replaced every few months because they may become contaminated by things in the home such as cleaners, perfumes, cigarette smoke and the like.
