How long does Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide take to kill Pennywort? Applied 2.5 weeks ago and Pennywort is still thriving while clovers have died and plantains are showing signs of distress. Is there a more effective herbicide to target Pennywort?

Answer:

For harder to kill weeds like pennywort (dollarweed) it can take up to 3-4 weeks to start seeing seeing the effects of Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide. Also, a second application may be needed which can be done 30 days following the first application.  Please view our How to Treat Dollarweed Guide for more information
