How long does Ultracide work?

I had a flea infestation that started in August. After several failed attempts I used your product in October with the last spraying in mid November 2017. I haven't seen a flea in my home since mid December 2017. I know your product claims to work for up to 7 months. If a new flea is introduced into the environment during these 7 months, is it killed on contact? Or if it tried to lay eggs, would those eggs not hatch, effectively killing the infestation before it happens? My pet is continuously treated for fleas each month but I know no product repels fleas off dogs. So if she brought one in my home, can I rely on Ultracide to nip the problem in the bud without extra work on my end during those 7 months?

Answer:

Pyripoxyfen is the IGR in PT Ultracide and while the insect growth regulator in Ultracide will continue to work for up to 7 months, it is recommended to re-apply Ultracide after new fleas emerge. This will increase knock-down of new adults.
