How long will Prodiamine last if my lawn gets 1 to 1 1/2” of water weekly?

I sprayed .55oz/1000sqft on March 20th and received over an inch and a half of rain 5 days later. I started watering my grass March 31st at a rate of 1 - 1 1/2 inches of water per week. Once I started watering, my lawn (clay soil) has not been dry at all. If I continue this rate, will I be able to reseed bare spots 4 months after application or do I need to wait the 7 months recommended on the label (if I'm reading the label correctly)?

Answer:

Since the rate of 0.55 oz per 1000 sq ft is equal to the rate of 1.5 lbs per Acre for Prodiamine 65 WDG, then yes, we do recommend that you wait the labeled interval before reseeding. Unfortunately, there is not an easy way to know how much soil residue would be left of the product, and we would not want you to waste your seed.
