How many gallons of diluted Dominion 2L I should use per acre?

I have purchased a bottle of Dominion 2L to use in place of Merit granules. I understand the mixing rates but was wondering how many gallons of mix I should use per acre? I was also wondering if I spray now to control ants and such, would I be able to spray again at the end of June to control grubs?

Answer:

Dominion 2L is labeled for ants but not as a broadcast spray over a large area such as an acre.  For ant control it is recommended to apply around the house or around whatever structure you are trying to keep them out of.  Dominion is not labeled to treat fire ants or other nesting ants in your yard.  For Chinch bugs you would use one bottle per acre, or about 1 gallon of mixed solution per 1000 square feet.  It would be ok to treat now and then again later for grubs, but again it would not be recommended to treat the entire yard for both.
