Daniel from Salisbury writes

How many ounces per gallon of water do I need to use the Permethrin SFR 36.8% for ticks?

Area treated is a wooded area surrounding a lawn, outbuildings and the house. Same question for the lawn please. The label says 0.4 - 0.8 ounces per 4 - 25 gallons. That is quite vague.

Answer:

We would recommend using Permethrin SFR at the rate of 1 2/3 oz. per gallon water for ticks.  It would also be a good idea to incorporate an insect growth regulator (IGR) such as Archer IGR for complete control of ticks.
