Hose end sprayers are not recommended to apply Drexel Pin Dee 3.3 EC Herbicide as it is difficult to regulate the water volume to provide a uniform spray application in a sufficient amount of water. The product label states to use proper calibrated ground equipement, hand pump or backpack sprayer for best coverage in no less than 40 gallons of water per acre (1 gallon of water per 1000 sq ft) at low pressure spray setting of 20-40 psi. For warm and cool season turfgrass applications, apply 1.3-1.8 fl. oz. in one gallon of water per 1000 sq ft.
