Bryce from Richmond writes

How much Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) would I need to treat 40 acres using 20 gallons of water per acre?

Answer:

The application rate for Grass Out Max (Clethodim Herbicide) will depend on the application site and where you are treating. Please refer to the product label for the recommended rates per acre for treating Crops, Non Bearing Food Crops, Conifer Trees, Perennial Grasses, Small Annual Grasses (canola, oats, soybean, legumes, vegetables), Roundup Ready Corn, Annual & Perennial weeds in Alfalfa & Mint, etc.  For Spot Treatments, the rate is 0.33 oz to 0.65 oz per gallon of water along with 0.33  oz of Non Ionic Surfactant. NOTE: If applied as a spot treatment, care should be taken to not exceed the maximum rate allowed on a "per acre" basis or crop injury may occur.
