Bayer Advanced 12 Month Tree & Shrub Insect Control Landscape Formula mixing ratio is as follows For trees, mix 0.5 ounces per 1 inch of distance around the tree (circumference), and place this amount in 1 gallon of water. Pour this solution on the soil around the base of the tree or shrub. For shrubs, use 1.5 ounces per 1 foot of height mixed in 1 gallon of water. Pour this solution on the soil around the base of the tree or shrub. If your tree is 207 inches, you will use 103.5 oz of product. We recommend using at least 2-5 gallons of water for a tree that size.
