How much water is needed to effectively water Sevin Lawn Insecticide Granules into the lawn?

Can this just be sprayed with the water hose or do I need to set the sprinkler out and move it around for a longer period of time?

Per the label, you should water with 0.1 inches of water immediately after applying Sevin Lawn Insecticide Granules.
