How often and how many times a year can Monterey Horticultural Oil and Monterey Liqui-Cop be applied?

I was advised to spray 3 times per year: Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentines Day. Is this correct?

Answer:

Since Monterey Horticultural Oil is a contact kill only and does not leave a residual, it can be applied as needed when target pests are active and present with no maximum number of applications. We would recommend not applying more than once per day as needed to avoid plant injury. Monterey Liqui-Cop does have retreatment intervals and maximum number of applications per year. Please refer to the product label for your specific treatment information.
