How often does Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait need to be applied as a broadcast treatment or to individual mounds to get complete control?

Broadcast treatment was done 1 month ago and are getting new hills. Is it time to reapply as a broadcast?

Answer:

Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait has a minimum re-treatment interval of 90 days. Do not exceed 8 pounds per acre per year or more than 4 times a year. Please refer to the Outdoor Use Rate Table located on page 2 of the product label for broadcast and mound application rates.
