Jim from Seneca, Sc - Zone 7 writes

How often should I rotate Propiconazole and 3336F for best fungus control? Every 2 weeks?

I live in zone 7 and have tall/fine fescue. I started early with the above 2 week schedule, but brown spot has come on and become worse as the summer progresses. I am using the curative rate of both products. Should I stick with one or the other for 4 weeks or longer to get better results?

Answer:

If brown patch is present then you would want to treat every 14 days.  You can apply 2 applications of the Clearys 3336 and then 2 applications of the propiconazole.  The product label for Propiconazole 14.3 does state to tank mix with a registered contact fungicide labeled for brown patch control at the label rate.  Azoxy 2SC or Armada 50WDG are good options for that.
