How should I apply Boracare to a very small area of finished hardwood floor?
I have a small area less than 6" wide and 4" long in a single board of hardwood floor that has frass appearing. Can I inject it into tiny holes I drill and then use wood filler to cover those holes or must i strip the surface of the floor area and refinish?
Answer:
Rather than using Boracare, we would recommend using the ready-to-use formulation of Boracare called Jecta if you are spot treating in finished wood. Jecta does not need to be mixed and could be injected into the specific infested areas.
