How will Gentrol IGR Concentrate work on carpet beetles?

I had a exterminator out last year, said didn't need a IGR. Due to infestion, without further information , I have been dealing with these nasty things AGAIN. I thank God for this exterminator. He did use the Gentrol. Needless to say, I am looking forward for the results.
