The Pennington All Purpose Nitrogen Fertilizer 34-0-0 can be safely applied to lawns throughout the summer growing season for a nutrient boost. Typically we recommend applying any and all herbicides and fertilizers in the early morning or late evening to reduce any chance of burn from heat.
