When you apply Pennington Pro Care Crabgrass Control Plus Prodiamine or any similar product, you want to be sure you are not applying more than the single application rate at any time (if there is one), or more than the annual maximum rate for all your applications together. These recommended timing rates and the annual maximum rates will depend on your turf type, per the product label. For example, if you have Tall Fescue turf, then you can apply twice a year at 4 lbs per 1,000 square feet, and you would still be within the annual maximum of 9.2 lbs per 1,000 sq ft.
