If the existing STUF-FIT copper mesh in brick weep holes is 3 years old, does it need to be replaced?

Answer:

STUF-FIT Copper Mesh should not rust over time and would only need to be replaced if it appears to have been removed or otherwise damaged. For Stuf-Fit used in structural holes, it would be best to cover the mesh with a solid sealant such as spray foam or caulking so that the mesh cannot be removed by rodents or other animals and so that you are providing a water-tight barrier.
