I will be treating in my yard and outside around my house. How many tsps per gallon? The directions on the bottle are rather misleading. I will probably treat 2500 sqft, and I'd rather mix one gallon batches twice if needed.
Whether you are treating indoors or outdoors, you would mix 1 ounce of Martins IGR with water. If treating indoors, you would mix 1 ounce with 1 gallon of water. When treating outdoors, you are supposed to mix 1 ounce of Martins IGR with 5 - 10 gallons of water and apply over 1000 square feet. You should use more water outside to make sure the solution gets to the thatch layer of the lawn and underneath mulch and ground cover which is where flea eggs are usually protected. Since there are 6 teaspoons in an ounce and if you only have a 1 gallon hand pump sprayer, you could mix 1.25 teaspoons per gallon of water and treat that over 200 square feet. This would end up being pretty close to the 1 ounce of Martins IGR per 5 gallons of water and using it over 1000 square feet.
