Image Nutsedge Killer For Southern Lawns, formerly known as Image Kills Nutsedge, is a selective, post-emergent herbicide that can be used on southern turf grass and selected ornamentals. It can be applied year-round. Its patented one-of-a-kind formula works by inhibiting the weeds' process of photosynthesis, which essentially starves them to death. Growth inhibition begins within a few hours of application, with yellowing occurring 1-2 weeks later. Full results are seen within 3-5 weeks. If necessary, a second application can be made after 6 weeks. Image Nutsedge Killer targets tough southern weeds including purple and yellow nutsedge, henbit, crabgrass, dollarweed, and dandelion. For established lawns only. Not for use on cool season grasses.
Image Nutsedge Killer has recently transitioned to new packaging. The product and it’s labeling have not changed, only the exterior packaging has changed.Product Documents

My lawn was sited to have NUTSEDGE and a landscaper quoted me an astronomical price to get rid of it. I decided to try an IMAGE product. I followed the directions and my NUTGRASS is gone. I saved much money and revived my lawn. This is a fantastic product at a reasonable price.

It is recommenced to apply Image Kills Nutsedge Concentrate in the early morning hours or late evening hours when the temperatures are below 85 degrees Fahrenheit. It is fine that the temperatures will be warmer in the day because it will likely dry before the temperatures get that high.
