Didn't know how much of a carpenter ant problem we had until we used this kit. Within 12 hours we started sweeping up dead ants. The liquid gel seems to work best for us.

This got rid of my carpenter ants (Central Jersey). Used the gel only.

I had carpenter ants in my log home. After watching a couple of YouTube videos about using the ant gel I placed the gel (as directed) along their path. Within 2 days we had hundreds of dead ants. We will treat the areas a once or twice more (per the videos) to assure we are ant free. In the meantime I had a pest control company to the house. I was told that Avion is the best product for any type of ant and to continue the course I was on. Obviously, I'm very pleased with the product.

I Used a spray from box store with limited results. This bait kit they fed hard on for a few days and 4 days later was the last one I saw. Its been a week after that and have not seen any. They seemed to like the gel bait more but overall the kit saved me alot of money. An exterminator would have been next.

I have used Do your own products for Carpenter ants, Carpenter bees, termites, brick bees. DYO has led me to the right products, and all have worked as advertised.
