InVade Bio Drain can be used to dissolve organic matter and scum that builds up on the inside of drains as this is a thick gel that slowly coats the inside of pipes allowing the micro-organisms in the drain gel to naturally break down the organic buildup inside the treated drains. When first using InVade Bio Drain apply every other day for the first week and then continue to use once a week afterwards. Drains should be treated at night when sinks/drains will not be used and allow gel to work its way down the drain. If you are using the recommended 4 oz of drain gel per use, then this would not be enough product to move the water out of the p-trap.
For deeper drain treatments, Foam Fresh Bio-Sanitation Foam would be a more effective treatment as this uses 7 different microbes that double in population every 20 minutes resulting in faster results of removing organic buildup. This product also comes with an Up-Down actuator cone spray nozzle, drain actuator nozzle, and 17.5” long, 3.3mm semi-rigid hose.
InVade Bio Drain can be safely poured into any drain however, if there are no current issues such as drain fly activity or foul odors/ smells, etc then there would be no reason to apply in this drain.

It is usually used to treat areas where drain flies will breed, and while sanitation is an important part of roach control, this is not something we would recommend for treating for roaches. We suggest our Roach Control Kits here which contain a roach bait gel, insect growth regulator (IGR), and residual spray to treat for this pest. Please also take a few moments to review our online Roach Treatment Guide for more tips.
