No More Drain Flies
By Ellen on 07/17/2020
We live in an old house where the drain in the basement floor connects to the waste water/sewer. We were having a terrible time with drain flies coming from the drain and the basement slop sink. 2 applications of Bio Drain did the trick. DoMyOwn shipped my order promptly so I could quickly take care of the problem. Will purchase again.

Faded excitement
By Amber on 09/22/2017
I was so excited after reading the reviews of this product. I had tried everything on the internet to rid my bathroom of drain flies including vinegar and baking soda, boiling water, Draino, and even bleach. Nothing was working. I finally purchased the InVade Bio Drain Gallon size and I followed the directions to a T, and at first, I thought it was working! After using it every night, for 7 nights, the drain flies had disappeared. I began using it once a week and was hopeful I could eventually move to once a month for maintenance. However, after 2 weeks, the flies came back, in large numbers. Now I'm out of the Bio Drain, as I was using it in 2 drains in a bathroom, and cannot justify buying another gallon, if they will just return again. My next step is an exterminator.

Seems to have just started working...
By Thomas on 07/28/2018
I've only been using it for about a week. We've had terrible drain flies... I've tried every internet remedy from vinegar and baking soda, to WD-40. Nothing touched them. I see the trick to this stuff is to make sure you leave it ALL AROUND the drain as well as in it. When the flies try to climb out, they get stuck in the gell and drown. Since using this they are not completely gone yet but the number has been greatly reduced (from 10 a day to just 1). So looking good so far .. will update after another week.

Did the trick!
By Michelle on 08/23/2015
We had these tiny flies, mostly in our downstairs bathroom. Couldn't figure out how to get rid of them. Tried baking soda & vinegar, bleach, nothing worked. This stuff did the trick after one application! Now all it takes is 1/4 cup every third day - hopefully at some point they won't return. But this is at least an easy remedy - thank you!!

No more flies
By Pete on 11/23/2018
This product is used to clean drain and traps of organic sludge that filth breading flies use to reproduce. It also has the side effect of keep plumbing running free. A must in food handling facilities and in low use drains (like floor drains) . Warm weather normally produces the fly problem but used year round will maintain clean pipes that flies cant use. Follow the directions. More is not better.

Purchased for Drain Flies and Seemed to Work
By Miranda on 05/26/2014
I puchased a home that had been empty for a few months and after moving in, noticed these annoying insects, which I believe were drain flies based on research. I decided to use this product and am very impressed that most of the flies are gone. I also patched up a drain hole on the bottom of my washer which I believe was the entry point since most were found in the area (laundry room and kitchen) If you have a similiar drain underneath your washer that drains out, make sure to treat that area with this product, that could be the source and entry point. Also, dont forget to treat the drain where the hose flushes out the water from the washer. Most people only think about the sinks and tubs (think ALL drains) go room by room. Apparantly, these critters are hard to get rid of so again, very impressed with this product. Smells really good too. Will be purchasing more to keep critters away, the drains clean and smelling good. I hope this review helps anyone who is having the same issue.

The flies are gone and my sanity is back
By Valisha on 12/15/2017
Today is December 15, 2017. I started using Bio Drain on November 24, 2017 and I can confidently say that the flies are gone. I have been dealing with these pesky flies for months and they were driving me insane. I had hung up fly paper, set traps, and had done everything I could think of to get rid of them. I started seeing a difference within a couple of days, but I wanted to wait a couple of weeks to make sure I didn't see a resurgence of them before I wrote a review. For full disclosure I did also purchase two of the Green Way Fruit Fly traps sold on this site and put those out at the same time.
Is too soon since started using this product

I would have to use this product a bit longer to see any results, however I contacted Rockwell Labs Ltd. (816)283-3167 and I spoke to a gentleman in the Customer Service Department about using this product for my specific problem and his reply was that Bio Drain was not the right product for my needs. When I mentioned Vector Bio-5 he immediately said that this was probably the correct product to use. I will finish using the Bio Drain and if the problem continues I will purchase the Vector Bio-5.
