I've tried Blindside and Celsius on dollarweed with limited success. Seems to require multiple treatments.
The combination of the four active ingredients contained in Avenue South Broadleaf Herbicide for Turfgrass provides effective weed control for troublesome weed species in warm season lawns, such as Centipede grass, including dollarweed and many others. Generally, if applied as directed on the product label, symptoms can be noticed within a few days of the application and weed death can occur within 14 to 28 days. Keep in mind that the ideal timing for post-emergent applications is when temperatures are between 65 and 85 degrees F., when the targeted weeds are actively growing.
