Ulises from Garden Grove, California writes

Is Delta Dust Insecticide a repellent?

I want to use this product in a commercial kitchen setting where often American roaches appear coming from the holes where gas and water lines protrude from the wall. Will applying this product repel roaches in a manor that will work counter productive since it's main ingredient is a synthetic pyrethroid. I really don't want to push roaches out onto a busy kitchen.

Answer:

Delta Dust is considered a repellent because insects can detect it. This does not mean they are truly repelled from the area they can just choose to avoid it as they know something is there. They must contact the treated area to be effected by the product though Click the link here to be taken to our roach control guide.
