Is Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer a safe product? What protective gear should I wear? I also have a dog, is it safe for my dog in the lawn? How far away from my vegetable garden should I keep this product (has tomatoes)?

Answer:

Yes, Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer is a safe product if it is used according to the label. According to the product label applicators should wear long sleeved shirts and long pants, chemical resistant gloves like our Nitrile Chemical Resistant Gloves, and of course socks and shoes. This product is safe for pets to be around after the treated areas have dried. They need to be removed from the area during treatments. This product needs to keep the out of the drip line of the tomatoes to be safe.
