The Hi Yield Garden, Pet and Livestock Dust Product Label states that the product can be applied to dogs safely when used according to the instructions, however in the precautionary statements it does state it is harmful to animals if swallowed. Since we do not make this product, we would recommend you reach out to the manufacturer directly for assistance in how to keep your pet as safe as possible while using this product. From the use instructions for dogs, it seems you would be using a very small amount and brushing it down to the skin level so the dog is unable to lick it off its coat on the surface.
