Is it safe to overspray a newly planted iris bed with Prodiamine 65 WDG (Generic Barricade)

Answer:

Prodiamine 65 WDG is safe when used as directed around ornamental plantings. It is only a pre-emergent, used to prevent weeds emerging. It will not kill anything that is actively growing. It should not be applied over the top of newly planted ornamental plants but should be fine for established plants.
