Is Onslaught Insecticide safe to be applied to furniture? My PCO applied Onslaught Insecticide to my carpets, upholstered furniture, and a glider in my baby's nursery. It's been over 10 hours and the odor is still strong, especially on the upholstery. I am concerned about this potential misuse by my exterminator.

My PCO applied Onslaught Insecticide to my carpets, upholstered furniture, and glider in my baby's nursery. It's been over 10 hours and the odor is still lingering, especially on the upholstery. The label mentions it's safe for pet beds, then just doesn't mention any other furniture and I've read other Q&A's this should not be applied to furniture.

Answer:

While Onslaught Insecticide can be applied as a broadcast spray to carpets, rugs, and pet resting areas for fleas – this cannot be applied as a surface spray on upholstered furniture, chairs, mattresses, etc.  The residual can last up to 90 days on indoor surfaces. We would recommend to thoroughly wash and clean any upholstered or fabric surfaces that were treated as an off label application. For additional information on removing any residue that remains, we would recommend contacting MGK directly at 1-800-645-6466.
