Stella from Decatur, Ga writes

Is Petcor Flea Spray safe as a mosquito repellent for cats?

For instance, to dab it onto the cat's ear with a cotton ball. This is for a cat who has no flea problems, just mosquitoes biting his ears.

Answer:

No, Petcor Flea Spray is only labeled for fleas, ticks and lice. We would recommend using Wondercide Flea & Tick Control Pets & Home - Cedar to kill and repel mosquitoes on cats. Spray generously on body, including belly, tail, and legs. Spray into hands or cloth to apply to face & ears. This product will last for up to two weeks but can be applied daily as needed.
