Is STUF-FIT Copper Mesh porous?

I am trying to fill the gap between my patio wall and floor so rodents cant get in (I live on the bottom most floor of my apartment building). I want it to be porous though, so rain water can seep out and doesn't accumulate after the gap is filled.
