Is Talstar XTRA safe to treat the areas surrounding honey bee hives for fire ants?

Answer:

Talstar XTRA Granules can be toxic to honey bees if the land on the treated areas even after they have dried. We would recommend Mavrik Perimeter that is non toxic to honey bees once dry. Please review the product label for more information.
