You could potentially use a fertilizer such as the Pennington 32-3-8 on any type of turfgrass in spring when the turf is actively growing. Be careful not to apply a lot of nitrogen when you may still be expecting a hard frost in early spring. We always recommend that you perform a soil test through your local Cooperative Extension or using a home kit such as our Soil Kit to determine which nutrients your lawn needs for optimal health.
