Is the silverfish kit safe around pets?

I have two cats. the main affected area is my garage and garage closet. I can keep them out of the closet but garage is harder. And the packets in kitchen cupboards, will it affect them?

Answer:

All of our products are safe to use around pets as long as you follow the instructions.  The general rule is to keep all pets out of the rooms you are treating while you are performing the treatment.  Once the product that you apply is dry, which usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes, it is perfectly safe to allow your pets to re-enter the room.  The silverfish packs should be placed in areas where pets cannot access them, such as underneath or behind places of activity.  All of these products are made to kill tiny insects, and should pose no threat to the cats unless they get into the containers or boxes themselves which is why you should keep all pesticide containers in a safe place, just as you would with cleaning chemicals or anything else.
