Is there anything I can do to reverse the effects if I accidently applied Tenacity to my Zoysia grass?

After watching a video on YouTube on weed control I purchased Tenacity. I assumed that when the man said the product would NOT kill grass that meant all grass. I applied a considerable amount to individual weeds throughout my entire lawn which consists of established Zoysia grass sod (9 years mature). I am located in central Florida. Now I read the product can/will kill Zoysia grass. Is there ANYTHING I can apply to neutralize the effects of the product? I just mowed it to try to take away the product on the top of each blade of grass. I bagged the clippings. Should I bombard the grass with water to help dilute the product? Should I try digging up all the weeds to save my grass?

Answer:

Oh no! If you can apply within a few hours of the application, then activated charcoal is the best thing to neutralize extra chemical. However, if it's been over 24 hours, then this may not help you very much. You definitely want to water the lawn well and not put any additional stress on it for at least a couple weeks. If the zoysiagrass is dormant, then it would probaby be fine, but I doubt this is the case if you are in Florida. Since you were using the Tenacity as a post-emergent, though, you should have just been spot treating the visible weeds in the lawn, so the worst case may be that you end up with some bare spots that you will need to reseed.
