Is there a post-emergent weed control product safe for centipede and St. Augustine during hot summer months?

Answer:

We have many different post-emergent herbicides that can be used on St. Augustine and Centipede grasses. In general, you should not spray herbicides when temperatures are over 90 degrees since your turfgrass will be under more stress during these times.
