Is this Pennington Pride Waste Free Blend Bird Food verified to be free of pesticides?

I would like to try this for feeding but first need to know that it is free of any pesticide content or residue.

According to the manufacturer of the Pennington Pride Waste Free Blend Bird Food:  "We do not use any pesticides on the seed/feed we carry, and we ask that the growers do not treat their seeds either. No seed should have pesticide coating"
