This plant has invaded all my gardens and creeping into my grass. Is this effective on this plant?
This type of weed is best controlled by manually removing the plants and as many of the roots and rhizomes as possible and disposing of them by incinerating them. This will need to be done multiple times to get complete control. This can be a very difficult and invasive species to deal with but Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide is not labeled for it. We suggest speaking to your local Master Gardener in the cooperative extension office for helpful tips on eradication that have been helpful in your area.
