Is XL 2G Herbicide safe in my vegetable garden?

I was told that if I put some of the XL 2G Herbicide in my tomato/vegetable garden, it will stop the weeds ...I did, and now I'm upset that I could have hurt my garden... did I? If so...what should I do?

Answer:

Unfortunately you were given some bad advice.  XL 2G is not labeled for use on fruit bearing or nut bearing trees and gardens. How hurtful to the actual vegetables this may be we are unsure.  We would recommend calling the manufacturer for advice on if the vegetables can be saved.  The manufacturer is Setre Chemical Company and they can be reached at 901-761-0050.
