Depending on how established the nutsedge is, it can take multiple applications to kill the actual nutlets, even when using an effective product like SedgeHammer + Herbicide. Ideally, the nutsege that will emerge in the upcoming growing season will be easier to control, because of the treatments you have applied in the last 12 months.
