I bought one of these traps around noon, and caught 4 the first day. Within a week I caught 11 chipmunks. Just caught another one. 10 of them were clean kills; I had to finish off 2 of them myself.

Chipmunks we're building an apartment building in a rock Wass we have. It was literally starting to collapse. I stumbled upon these traps, and thought I'd try them. I don't like killing animals, but it was us or them (and there were a lot). These traps work like magic. A little peanut butter is all it takes.

Have used the Jawz rat and chipmunk traps by JT Eaton for several years now. They are easy to set, and empty. DOmyOwn sells them cheaper and mails them free right to your home.

Great chipmunk trap. I just use a little peanut butter and have good results. Got seven critters last year and four this year.

For chipmunks that may have found there home under your sidewalks, downspout placed in the ground, and other areas in your landscaping, these traps will downsize the population greatly and continue to do so. Bait can be easily applied in the little cup. These are a success! I will also use in garage in winter for mice. Thanks! The downsides are: A hard rainfall will trigger the trap to snap shut, it can catch other critters you may not have wanted, and larger animals in the food chain can eat the chipmunk and drag the trap to another location making it unable to be found. I have 2 traps missing.
