It is not recommended that you mix Neem Oil with a Kinetic Surfactant because you will likely burn your plants. Neem Oil is already an oil and does not need to be mixed with anything.
When used as directed on the product label Kinetic Nonionic Surfactant is safe to use and does not contain a pesticide. It contains a proprietary blend of polyalkyleneoxide modified polydimethylsiloxane and nonionic surfactants.
Kinetic Nonionic Surfactant is a nonionic surfactant, wetter, spreader sticker that provides rapid spreading and absorption of pesticide, fungicide and nutrient sprays into plant leaves and stems. It would not be recommended to be used for as a wetting agent for peat as it is for Liquid Fertilizers, Fungicides, Herbicides and Insecticides as directed on the product label. Kinetic is usually added to help these products better stick to plants and other vegetation, it is not applied to soil or peat. It is safe when used as directed on the label and can generally be applied as often as the product it is mixed with is needed to be applied. We do apologize but are unable to answer the remaining questions as they pertain to an off label usage that we do not have information on.
Typically, you would use between 12 ounces and 64 ounces of Kinetic Nonionic Surfactant per 100 gallons. This would equate to .12 to .64 ounces per gallon of water. We typically suggest to split the middle on these calculations, so we would recommend about a third of an ounce per gallon of water.
As long as you are following the product label instructions for the products you are using, your turf should not be injured. Kinetic is just a surfactant and should not kill anything at all. Kinetic is usually added to herbicides, pesticides or fungicides to help the products better stick to plants and other vegetation. We do carry a full line of herbicides if you need to purchase an herbicide. You can read the product label of any herbicide you choose to make sure your species of grass is listed as a tolerant variety. Product label links are available on individual product pages under the "Product Documents" section.
