Lonny from San Fernando Valley, Ca writes

I live in Southern CA. When should I use Monterey Fruit Tree & Vegetable Systemic Soil Drench for my orange and plum tree?

There was no book explaining the correct mixture. Can you let me know what it is?

Answer:

For the best time to apply the Fruit Tree and Vegetable Systemic Soil Drench, we would recommend contacting your local cooperative extension office as they will have information for your specific region. The mix rate for vegetables, herbs, berries and grapes is 1/2 oz per 1 qt of water per 10 sq. ft. For fruit trees, the amount is determined by the distance from the trunk to the drip line. You may view the chart on the third page of the product label for the correct mix rate for plums and oranges.
